Inspired by her parents, who owned and operated the Angel's Table decades ago in Mount Angel, Kristi Stokley has always held the dream of owning and operating a restaurant of her own. With the full support of Husband, Scott, they dove head first into setting things into motion. After some time and some more family joining in, they started bringing "just good food" back to their
small town.
The original aim was to satisfy the daily regulars, the morning coffees, and the lunch break orders in their 6-table spot. Serving everyone in town quickly turned into everyone in town's family's and friends and the Stokley family started to realize they needed a bigger space to serve
anyone and everyone!
Lou's Kitchen now sits proudly in the center of the small German village, hundreds of feet from the original location. The new space brings in everyone from the early hump-day riser's to the Friday-country-drivers. With varying soups, nightly specials, and a family in the kitchen, you can expect
a new dish to try every visit!
Say "Hi," to the owners while you're there!
Looking for the perfect gift? Lou's Kitchen gift cards are the perfect way to show your loved ones how much you care. Treat them to a visit for our delicious food and drinks!
